VI. Agnus Dei
This was, in fact, the first movement of the entire piece to be written, back in fall 2008. It was originally written for soprano, contralto, and string sextet. In the winter of 2010/2011, I reorchestrated it for the full orchestra (minus piano) and added the men's choir part.

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi,
Dona eis requiem. Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, Dona eis requiem sempiternam. |
Translation
Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world,
Grant them rest. Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world, Grant them rest eternal. |

Random fact: The melody began as part of a counterpoint assignment, but didn't work as counterpoint because of its wide range.
